the effects celebrities have on media
For my topic I am looking to explore the ways in which celebrity
endorsements have an effect on a product. For example, does pepsi make more
sales when they have a celebrity shown in the advertisement? Or would the
company have the same results in sales if they used non-celelbrities or the
product alone. Cosmetic brands and luxury items such as watches, are also
known to have a celebrity endorse their product in an advertisement. How
did this type of advertisement style come to be?
